Developers Andy Campbell and Mez Breeze announced that All the Delicate Duplicates will launch worldwide on PC via Steam on February 17th, 2017. All The Delicate Duplicates is a single player first person narrative game that toys with the concept of time: reality isn’t stable or linear here, but unfurls across a storyworld that bends, flexes and (in some instances) duplicates.
John, a computer engineer and single father, inherits a collection of arcane objects from Mo, his mysterious relative. Over time, John and his daughter Charlotte begin to realize that these objects have unusual physical properties – and that the more they are exposed to them, the more their reality and memories appear to change.
Develop: Brighton this year held an absolute bucket-load of talent, from the entrants in the Big Indie Pitch to those on the show floor. One game that stood out marvellously however was Andy Campbell and Mez Breeze’s upcoming VR title, Pluto.
The game is an exploration and marriage of story, art, and script. By incorporating text into the character’s surroundings All The Delicate Duplicates has abandoned the age-old way of getting across information from a book/diary page, and instead uses virtual reality to its advantage.
