Uncharted 4 may have been the end of Nathan Drake’s story, but it’s not the final Uncharted story Naughty Dog has to tell.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a new adventure in the series starring Chloe Frazer. The game will be offered as both a stand-alone title and as part of the Uncharted 4 season pass—though you only have until December 13th to purchase the season pass or the Digital Deluxe version of the game which comes with the season pass.
This reminds me a bit of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon which was also offered as a stand-alone expansion to Far Cry 3. It also reminds me of Fallout 4 and Dying Light, both of which got season pass price bumps when it turned out their expansion content was so…expansive.
Here’s the official description of The Lost Legacy’s story:
“In order to recover a fabled ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer, Chloe Frazer must enlist the aid of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross (from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End). Together, they’ll venture deep into the mountains of India in search of the legendary artifact. Along the way, they’ll learn to work together to unearth the mystery of the artifact, fight their way through fierce opposition, and prevent the region from falling into chaos.”
